Response Officers have no special rights and have the same legal rights as an ordinary citizen. Thula Bona Response and Tactical officers as well as our guards are educated on the Criminal Procedure Act. This enables them to use their knowledge effectively out on the field when confronted with various situations.
Thula Bona Protection Services is keen on keeping up with technology in the security industry and utilises the Guard Cell programme. The Thula Bona Response Officer would punch in a generated user code from the Thula Bona Control Centre on the fixed keypad located in the response vehicle. Further to that, the rolling code technology ensures that every time we respond, the Thula Bona Control Centre programme will generate a new PIN code preventing any unauthorized entry.
In the event of a power cut, your system’s reserve backup battery power will commence functioning.
The backup battery is capable of continuing normal operation (and sounding the alarm) for several hours depending on the size of your system and the current state of your battery. The backup battery will recharge automatically when normal power is restored.
Call the Thula Bona Control Centre or office on 074-055-3590 and log a fault with the Thula Bona Technical Department. The Technical Consultant will advise you further and arrange for a technician to facilitate any repairs.
